A gravel vacuum for water changes: a 10-inch intake tube, a 6-foot hose, a priming bulb and a clip that holds the hose on the bucket. You start the flow by moving the tube up and down in the water or by squeezing the bulb a few times. Dirt is carried out with the water while the gravel drops back to the bottom. The maker says the large size is for aquariums of 15 to 55 gallons. You need your own bucket. The maker suggests running the end of the hose under hot water first, which makes it easier to push onto the tube and the bulb.
