Two magnets, one inside the tank and one outside, so the algae comes off without your arm going in. This one is rated for glass up to 0.63 inches thick, which covers tanks well past the usual home sizes. It works through glass up to 0.63 inches thick. The inner half floats, so when the magnets separate it comes back to the surface instead of sitting in the gravel. Two blade types are included, one for film and one for the hard spots. Nothing goes in the water except the inner block, so the water stays clear while you work. Lift the inner block clear of the substrate before you drag it along the bottom. A grain of sand caught underneath will scratch the glass in one pass.

Everything ships from the US. 30-day returns. Free shipping over $35.
