A week away used to mean asking a neighbor to feed the fish, which usually meant coming home to a tank that had been fed far too much. This holds 320 milliliters and drops the same portion on the same schedule. The hopper holds 320 milliliters of flake, pellet or crumble. The timer runs 8, 10 or 24 hour cycles, so you can set one feed a day or three. The portion size adjusts, so a small tank is not getting a big tank's helping. It mounts on the rim and runs on its own, with nothing to plug in near the water. Run it for two or three days while you are still home. That is when you find out it drops twice what you meant it to, not while you are away.
