A liquid water conditioner that is added to new aquarium water, for freshwater and saltwater tanks. The maker says it removes chlorine and chloramine and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite and heavy metals found in tap water at typical concentration levels. The label says to use 1 capful, which is 5 mL, for each 50 US gallons of new water, and that 250 mL treats 2,500 US gallons. For smaller volumes the maker says to use 2 drops per gallon. The label says to use a half dose when the water is warmer than 86 degrees Fahrenheit and chlorine or ammonia levels are low. The label says a sulfur smell is normal, that it is for aquarium use only and that it must be kept away from children. The shop sells one 250 mL bottle, which is about 8.5 fluid ounces and 6 inches tall. Close the cap tightly after use and store the bottle upright, in a cupboard that children and pets cannot reach.
