Two compressed bricks of forest moss, 7 quarts each once loosened, for the floor of a humid terrarium or inside a hide. The moss is grown in tropical Asia and compressed for shipping. It expands when you wet it. It holds a lot of water, so it raises the humidity in a terrarium and suits a damp hide. The maker says it suits frogs, salamanders and reptiles that burrow or dig, and that it also works as an egg-laying medium. The two bricks weigh about 1.1 pounds together. Soak a brick in a bucket, squeeze out the extra water and lay the moss loosely. Packed moss dries out faster.

Everything ships from the US. 30-day returns. Free shipping over $35.
