A gray treat puzzle for cats, with a spinning wheel, raindrop-shaped covers and sliding pegs that hide food or treats. It holds up to a quarter cup of food or treats, spread over 14 hidden compartments and 5 pegs. Your cat spins the wheel, turns the raindrop covers and slides the pegs to get at the treats. For an easier game, put treats in the compartments in the base and under the wheel, and leave the raindrop covers open. For a harder game, also drop treats into the pegs through the holes on top, so your cat has to turn the raindrops and slide the pegs until the treats fall into the base. The maker calls it a level 3 puzzle, and the easier setup is there for cats that are new to puzzles. The maker says it is made of a mix of wood and plastic and has no parts that come off. Wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap, rinse it well and let it dry before you fill it again. Stay nearby while your cat plays, and check the puzzle now and then for damage. The type of toy is a treat puzzle.
