A soft plush kitty for cats and kittens, 12 by 7 inches, with a purring mechanism inside. The maker says a gentle squeeze starts a purring sound that lasts 2 minutes, once the plastic tab has been removed from the battery pack inside the shell. The maker says to remove the purring mechanism before washing, to machine wash the shell on a gentle cycle, and to let it air dry fully before the mechanism goes back in. It contains 3 LR44 button cell batteries, which the maker says can cause serious internal chemical burns or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours if swallowed. The maker says to get medical help at once if a battery may have been swallowed, to keep new and used batteries away from children, and to take worn-out batteries out of the toy. The maker says the batteries can be replaced, that the toy has small parts and is for cats only, and that a cat should always be supervised with it. The shop sells one toy in the Purr Pillow Kitty design. Check that the hook and loop closure is pressed shut before you give the toy to your cat, and take the toy away if a seam opens. The type of toy is a plush toy with sound.
