A cat puzzle at the easier Level 2. Your cat moves leaf-shaped flippers and ladybug pegs to find the treats hidden underneath. It has 16 treat compartments and holds up to a quarter cup of treats or dry food. For an easier game, put treats in the base compartments only and cover them with the flippers. For a harder one, drop them into the sliding cups through the top holes, so your cat has to push the cups along until the treats fall out. It measures 13 by 9.5 inches and is 1.26 inches high. There are no removable parts, and the maker says it is made without BPA, PVC, lead or phthalates. It wipes clean. The maker says it also works for small dogs and puppies. The Rainy Day puzzle at Petdeals is the Level 3 version, for a cat that has worked this one out. Start with the easy game, and only move the treats into the cups once your cat opens the flippers without help. The type of toy is a treat puzzle.
